Reflective practice allows us to step back and think more deeply about our work and our working environment. It is a form of supervision for coaches and consultants seeking to develop as practitioners.
The group consists of 6 one hour sessions and costs £360
We live in a fast paced world, and seldom have the time to reflect broadly or deeply upon the challenges of our workplace. We may be rushed to answering questions with our exploring whether the obvious answers are the right ones, or whether we are asking the right questions in the first place. Human systems are complex and dynamic, and subject to both conscious and unconscious influences, which may not always be as obvious as they seem.
In a reflective practice group we can deepen our understanding of the challenges we face in our work, by drawing on a rich diversity of knowledge and experience. In exchanging ideas and perspectives we can learn from each other and bring real and immediate value back to our workplace.
The group will meet virtually over Zoom.
It will consist of 6-8 members who may coaches, consultant, psychotherapists, or just leaders who are interested in better understanding human systems.
We will meet once each month over a six month period and typically all meetings take place on Mondays, between 12:30-13:30 UK time. Dates for 2024 are:
17th June 2024
22nd July 2024
19th August 2024
16th September 2024
21st October 2024
18th November 2024
The group is emergent and will explore any material that members bring to each particular session. We do not plan topics in advance but work in the moment, with the real challenges or questions that members are facing in their practice. These challenges may be concrete and related to individual clients, teams or organisations, or may be more abstract and intangible. The group will try to make meaning of what has been brought and explore ways to bring together theory and practice to help each other make best use of the learning. We may consider both the materials brought to the group, and the group process itself and the group will evolve over time.
